The Hymns Remain.
The Mission Continues.
For generations, Yoruba hymns have carried the message of the gospel in the language, melodies and expressions of our people. The hymns we sing today are echoes of a faith received from those who came before us—a faith preserved through worship and passed from one generation to the next.
But this legacy is not meant to remain still.
Inspired by Acts 1:8, An Evening of Yoruba Hymns 2026 calls us to carry that faith forward: “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Through worship, stories from the mission field and collective giving, we aim to support the continued spread of the gospel across communities and regions.
Our Goal:
₦100 Million for Mission Work
This gathering is more than an evening of worship. It is a coordinated effort to mobilise meaningful support for gospel work.
Hosted by Acts 1:8 Collective, we aim to raise ₦100 million in support of selected mission initiatives and indigenous mission organisations working to bring the gospel to communities across regions.
Every gift, large or small helps move the mission forward.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
